The Basic 5 Ways To Knot Shoelace:

  • Basic Knot:

Take both shoe laces and thread one lace over the other and then pull them tight. They should form a knot in the middle of the shoe. Make a loop with one of the shoe laces Use your other hand to wrap the other lace around the loop. Pull the shoelace through the hole to form another loop. There should be a hole between the looped shoelace and the wrapped shoelace now. Hold both loops and pull them tight and you have a nicely tied shoe now.

  • Bunny Ears:

Tie a basic knot first. Take both shoe laces and thread one lace over the other and then pull them tight. a knot will form in the middle of the shoe.   • Circle Technique:

Begin with the regular knot in the middle of the show. Grip both shoe laces and make loops on both laces. Pull your fingers towards each other so you feel some tension. Twist your fingers so they are facing each other. You should be forming an X shape with the laces, pull the laces through using your thumb and forefinger. Pinch the shoe laces between your fingers and pull them tight. As you tighten the shoe laces, you should now have two loops on either side of the shoe and a nice, clean knot in the middle of the shoe.

  • Surgeon’s Shoelace Knot:

Start with the simple regular knot. Make a loop on the lace, now take the left lace and pass it around the right lace loop. Continue the left lace around the right loop to end up in front. Start to push the left lace into the hole that has just been made, pull the left lace through the hole to form a loop on the right-hand side. Wrap the right loop around the left loop for the second time so that it once again ends up in front. Now, this is the secret recipe, Feed the right loop back through the hole for the second time, this makes the knot secure. Now, simply pull the loops to tighten the knot.
