Differences Between MS-Word 2003 And MS-Word 2007

Quick Access Toolbar

Word 2003: This feature is not available. Users must go through the entire menu tab to access frequently-used commands like save, edit or undo.

These commands and features can include undo, repeat or clip art as well as to save. By customizing your Quick Access Toolbar, you can instantly access these commands and features. Mail Merge Wizard:

MS-Word 2003: It includes ‘Mail Merge Wizard’ which allows users to send customized messages. The wizard is not compatible with Microsoft Excel attachments. This means that you won’t be able to import your data from Microsoft Excel files for emailing.

MS-Word 2007: It now has a better ‘Mail Merge Wizard’ which allows users to send personalized messages to all recipients without having to go through the process for CC and BCC within their mail accounts. Once you have sent your mail to all recipients, the wizard will forward them to your Microsoft Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook Express outbox. Outlook automatically sends personalized messages to all addresses whenever you go online with Microsoft Outlook. The wizard saves you the time of writing letters or documents to each recipient and their personal information.
