How to Start preparing for the CUET 2022 Exam

The CUET (Common University Entrance Test) has been a huge step forward in eliminating the consequences of discrepancies in mark distribution between examination boards across the country.

The exam is designed to offer a “level playing field” for students from all walks of life and all parts of the country, allowing them to pursue higher education at the institution of their choice.

Students will be able to apply for admission to any of the participating institutions across the nation for the academic year 2022-2023 through Cuet mock test BBA.

It is a single entrance test for admission to Central Universities and other participating institutions, which would admit students to their undergraduate programs (such as BSc, Integrated MSc, BA, and others) for the academic year 2022-2023 based on their marks/NTA (National Testing Agency) Score.

This implies that students interested in enrolling in various undergraduate courses at CUET participating institutions should take the CUET, the results of which will be utilized by the universities to compile a merit list of individuals interested in enrolling in their courses.

This test (previously known as CUCET — Central Universities Common Entrance Test) is not a new idea, as proposed by the National Education Policy 2020. It was initially held in 2010 to fill 1,500 places in undergraduate, postgraduate, and integrated programs at seven major institutions.

Many universities will be covered by CUET starting in the academic year 2022-2023. University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Ambedkar University, Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University, and the University of Allahabad are among the major universities.

Every student who wants to take the CUET (UG) must first learn about the CUET pattern.

Unlike other professional degree admission tests (Joint Entrance Examination, National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test, Common Entrance Tests, and so on), the CUET modus method is quite difficult.CUET is expected to encompass a total of 61 topic exams.

CUET’s Pattern

The Cuet notes will be administered by computer-based testing (CBT) and will be divided into three portions, each of which is further subdivided into sub-sections.

There will be single-answer MCQs as well as negative grading.Section I (Language) questions will also be focused on reading comprehension.Each right answer will earn the student 5 points, while each erroneous response will detract one point from the subject’s overall score.

The candidate must consult the requirements of his or her planned institution for his or her intended course while selecting languages from Sections IA and IB, domain-specific subjects from Section II, and the General Test from Section III.

The topics in Division II have a syllabus based on the NCERT curriculum for Class 12.The test will be divided into two slots, with the first slot lasting 3 hours and 15 minutes and the second lasting 3 hours and 45 minutes.

Students will have a maximum of 30 days after the Class 12 board test to take the CUET.

Students will be able to prepare successfully for CUET in this short time if they plan ahead of time for 30 days.

It was advised that the curriculum be divided into little pieces and that a goal be set to complete each one every 2-3 days, to finish the full syllabus at least 5-7 days before the exam date.

To ensure that you are adequately prepared before entering the test hall, devise an efficient revision schedule for the last seven days.
