What To Do For Extended Internet Range?

For extended internet range in every corner of the house, even in blind spots, there is a need to configure a Netgear WiFi range extender. Yes, that’s absolutely correct! Netgear extender is the only device that fulfills the internet needs of every user around the globe. Makers of other WiFi devices don’t provide what they promise, right? But, Netgear don’t do that! New Extender Setup Instructions

Note: This article will not only help you to configure a new Netgear WiFi range extender but also help you to reconfigure your existing range extender after resetting.

Step 1: Plug in your Netgear WiFi range extender.

Note: Do not plug in your extender if there is any fluctuation in the electricity. Moreover, avoid plugging in the extender into a damaged wall outlet.

The LEDs on the extender will become stable. It will take 2-3 minutes or even more than that.

Note: Do not proceed. Let the extender’s LED becomes lit and green. Just in case, the extender’s LEDs continuous to blink turn it off and on after a short while.

Step 2: Connect your router and the Netgear extender.

Note: Do not connect the extender and your router wirelessly. The Ethernet connection for new extender setup will work in a successful manner. For this, you have to place the devices in reach of each other. Seems quite impossible? Use extension for the same. Once the new extender setup process meets a successful end, you can place the devices at the location of your choice.

Step 3: Turn on a laptop.

For best performance, update the laptop software. What happened? You have a desktop? Why worry? You can use that as well. But, ensure to update its software too.

Step 4: Open a web browser. You can use any of your choice. But, using an up-to-date browser is also important.

Step 5: Enter mywifiext web address in the URL bar.

Note: Do not enter the URL in the search bar. Doing so will give you login issues.

The reason behind suggesting you to use an up-to-date web browser is –“mywifiext”. Yes, mywifiext will not work if the browser version you are using is outdated.

Step 6: Press Enter and you will be redirected to the setup page of your device.

Note: Getting mywifiext not working issue? No worries! Just clear browsing history, close all the pined and opened tabs, restart the device, and try to access mywifiext web address again.

Step 7: Now, you are into the new extender setup page, right? So, what are you waiting for? Provide your extender’s login details into the required fields. Once you entered, check them thoroughly and click Log In.

Step 8: As soon as you click on Log In, the setup wizard of your Netgear device will appear. Here, you just have to follow the on-screen instructions in exact given order to complete the configuration process of your device with great ease.
